Millions of miles away, on a giant Matzah Ball in outer space, live a family of funny, furry aliens who just happen to be Jewish. Sadly, most Jewish traditions on Planet Matzah Ball have been lost but when Oogy, a 9-year-old alien, sets out to explore them, everything changes as these charming and informative stories unfold. Music, animation, and live puppets tell the tale of a family of furry, Jewish aliens living on a giant matzah ball in outer space. The family becomes eager to solve the mystery of a menorah that recently crash landed on the matzah ball. Nine-year-old Oogy peeks through his high-powerd telescope and discovers a group of kids in Cleveland, Ohio having lots of fun at a Chanukah party. Soon they all begin to learn, through music and song, the true meaning of Chanukah.
